On Wednesday, community partners celebrated the opening of the new Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation STEM Center at the YMCA of Frederick County Westside Program Center on the Golden Mile, providing youth with hands-on STEM learning opportunities that encourage creativity, innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. By exposing students to science, technology, engineering, and math early, Frederick is helping build the next generation of innovators, entrepreneurs, and skilled professionals who will contribute to our local economy for years to come. Congratulations to the YMCA, Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation, and all partners involved in bringing this impactful resource to the community.
