Memorial Day is a moment for all of us to pause, reflect, and recognize the names, stories, and sacrifices that will never be forgotten. We extend our deepest gratitude to the families who carry the legacy of their loved ones each day.

May this day inspire remembrance, unity, and continued support for those who serve and those who have served.

• Meet employers and learn about job opportunities with the Frederick County Division of Human Resources and other hiring organizations

Join us on Saturday, May 2, from 9 AM–12 PM at Frederick Health Village for our 3rd Annual Veterans Appreciation Day — a free, family‑friendly celebration honoring our local Veterans and Service Members.

Event Highlights:
• Veteran Resource Fair featuring services and support
• Career Fair hosted by Frederick County Government Human Resources & Workforce Services
• On‑site VA Benefits and Claims assistance
• Veteran & Service Member Recognition Ceremony
• Warrior Canine Connection workshops + puppy‑naming ceremony

12-Week Trauma Recovery Course for Veterans & Service Members designed specifically for Veterans and Service Members seeking support, healing, and connection.

The Mighty 30 has some incredible news to share with you all. A free, 12-week REBOOT Trauma Recovery Course is starting soon at the Veteran Services Center at Goodwill in Frederick!

The course begins on April 30 and runs through July 23, 2026. Classes meet every Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, and dinner will be provided.

Whether you're struggling with the transition to civilian life or need help navigating your own after-service journey, this course is designed by fellow veterans who want to support your healing and strength.
