Together we will influence public policy and enact legislation that strengthens families, fights child and human trafficking, promotes time-honored values, protects the dignity of life and marriage, lowers the tax burden on small business and families, and requires government to tighten its belt and live within its means. Literacy is not only important for children's well being and their futures, it's a key component for having thriving communities and a successful country.

Dolly Parton’s commitment to early childhood reading has inspired millions in Tennessee. We are honoring her legacy by preserving the Imagination Library.

Today, Senator Bo Watson (TN-11) and I announced for the state to fund 100% of the imagination library. This follows investing an additional $4.5 billion in state dollars in k-12, and $200 million in TN Accelerating Literacy and Learning Corps which has lead TN to be ranked 18th in k-12 education and 4th for reading proficiency growth!

In 2018, Marsha Blackburn faced the strongest statewide Democrat Tennessee had seen in years — Phil Bredesen.

She beat him by **11 points**.
A clear landslide.

Chuckie Schumer and national Democrats poured millions into that race. It didn’t matter.

And now a bit of good news for those of us who believe in election integrity to end the day with.

It will also infuriate (if not frighten) Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass, so that's an added bonus.

The Supreme Court handed President Trump a victory, allowing his administration to enforce his "election integrity" executive order restricting mail-in voting ahead of the November midterms.

The ruling clears the way for the Trump administration to move forward with restrictions on mail-in ballots after legal challenges had blocked parts of the president's executive order.

The decision comes just months before voters head to the polls for the midterm elections.
