Seasonal Weight Restrictions
Pursuant to WI Statutes 349.16, the Town of Fox Lake seasonal weight restrictions will become effective Wednesday, March 4th, 2026 at 9 a.m. This is a critical period of time for town roadways, and we request support and cooperation during the temporary load limit. Effective this date, the Town of Fox Lake roads will be restricted to six (6) tons for any single axle weight. Our website/Facebook will be updated when these restrictions are lifted.

TOWN OF FOX LAKE

NOXIOUS W**D NOTICE

Notice is hereby given to each person who owns, occupies or controls land in the Town of Fox Lake, Dodge County, State of Wisconsin, is to destroy noxious w**ds on such property before the plants bloom.

Noxious w**ds are: Canada Thistle, Leafy Spurge, Field Bindw**d (creeping Jenny), Yellow Rocket, Perennial Sow Thistle, Musk Thistle, Giant Foxtail, Wild H**p (Ma*****na), Yellow Mustard, Velvet Leaf, Wild Radish, Bull Thistle and the Buckthorn Bush and any other w**d the governing body of any municipality or the county board of any county by ordinance or resolution declares to be noxious within its respective boundaries. Wis. Stats. 66.0407(b). Noxious W**ds shall be controlled at such time and in such a manner as will effectually prevent such plants from maturing to the bloom of the flower stage.

“The w**d Commissioner shall serve a 5-day written notice to owner or occupant neglecting to destroy noxious w**ds. Failure to comply with this order within the time stated shall cause the commissioner to have all such seeds destroyed and the expense charged to said lands in the next tax roll.”

On March 10 th at our monthly town board meeting there will be an opportunity for a QA session with the Administrator/ CEO Brian Zacho in regards to the upcoming Randolph School district Referendum asking for more of your tax Dollars to run the School
Please come and get involved this will be your chance to directly address this issue
6:30 pm at the town hall on Cty F.

Thanks to everyone who has reported the broken aerator line. The line is floating on top of the water and has been marked by an orange jug. We are working with Sweetmans ( they have divers to fix it.) but will probably be a few days till they can get to it. In the meantime PLEASE AVOID that Area. Directly off the south shore of Maple Point.

Temporary No Wake Boating Regulation

Town of Fox Lake

Due to recent heavy rainfall leading to significantly high-water levels, the Town of Fox Lake is implementing a temporary no wake boating regulation on Fox Lake and Lake Emily. This measure is essential to protect the shoreline from erosion and prevent property damage.

Effective Date: 6-26-24

Duration: Until further notice, depending on water levels.

Affected Area: Fox Lake and Lake Emily

Regulation Details: All motorized boats must operate at a no wake speed. Boaters are reminded to be cautious and considerate of both the environment and other lake users.

Purpose: To minimize shoreline erosion. To prevent property damage and ensure safety for all lake users as reports of large floating debris have been received. The Town of Fox Lake appreciates the cooperation and understanding of all boaters and residents during this period.
