My lunch for today. Butter lettuce with canned tuna, sour cream with Kinder’s Buttery Steak & Chop seasoning, sunflower kernels and crispy onions. Anyone else use lettuce instead of bread to make a sandwich? Also what’s your favorite things to put in it?

If you’re going out and about, be careful for poison ivy! This happened to me 4 years ago and I’ve had anxiety ever since, anytime we have went hiking. This actually happened on some land we owned and we were clearing it by hand and didn’t realize we were pulling up poison ivy at the time and I was throwing it into a burn pile and standing over that fire! It made me really sick and my face started to swell and I went to the E.R because I wasn’t feeling right and they said I had Cellulitis in the face! I also had the poison ivy all over me and felt like I couldn’t breathe good. The itching and burning was horrible! Stupid of me, I know! Learned my lesson that day! My Husband only had the poison ivy rash to his body but this is what it did to me. We got it a few more times just touching things on the property and eventually sold it. I miss it but also glad I’m not getting sick anymore. It was scary having to fight this, get a shot in the butt 😂, and take prednisone that caused me to bruise easily. I also felt off and not all there when on it. Hard to explain but it was crazy. The only relief to the poison ivy on my arms and hands was running them under very hot water. Somehow it scratched the itch. 😄
