♥️Card Campaign for residents♥️
(Scott, Sebastian, Polk, Crawford, Logan, and Franklin counties)
✉️ If you have some spare time, I urge you to help me shower our local nursing home residents with cards! These cards don’t have to be Christmas cards, but can be, if you like and can get them done quick enough.
📝 Writing something small, can make a persons day!
👴 👵 During the pandemic our nursing home residents have been under huge restrictions that have limited their visitation with family and friends. Social isolation is deadly, friends! During a recent conference I attended, a resident of a facility spoke up and told about how a simple card, made their entire day. I’m asking all of my friends who are able to HELP ME spread HAPPY MAIL.
🚙 I have 33 facilities within the six counties of my region. It’s my goal to obtain a volunteer for each of them. You can pick a facility, or I can help assign you a facility. Once you have a facility, I will tell you how many cards are needed to cover. You would be in charge of ensuring enough cards are made or purchased for that facility. After, you will return the cards to me, I will address them individually to each resident within the facility, and deliver them. M
