Having stronger muscles often leads to stronger bones. According to Harvard Health Publishing,

a combination of age-related changes, inactivity, and inadequate nutrition conspire to gradually steal bone mass, at the rate of 1% per year after age 40. As bones grow more fragile and susceptible to fracture, they are more likely to break after even a minor fall, or a far less obvious stress such as bending over to tie a shoelace.

If youโ€™re new to exercise and want to learn more, attend our Staying Fit Home and Away Class. You can even make an appointment with one of our Educators for a Health Assessment Review for an Exercise Plan.

๐Ÿ’ช Strength Training for Everyday Life

Did you know that your daily activities are full of functional movements? From carrying groceries ๐Ÿ›’ to climbing stairs ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ, your body naturally performs squats, lunges, pushes, and pulls. Functional strength training prepares your muscles and joints to handle these real-life tasks with more ease and less risk of injury.

Why it matters:
- Increases your ability to lift, carry, and move with confidence.
- Improves balance and stability for daily activities.
- Reduces aches, pains, and the chance of injury.

Strong in the gym = strong in life. Start training for the way your body actually moves!
