When Private First Class Mark Burgos was growing up in Puerto Rico, he found himself surrounded by friends and family who had served in the Military.

He finally made the decision to enlist when he came to terms with this being his life’s calling. Now that he finds himself as one of Sykes’ Regulars, he trains in MMA and spends his time exploring the surrounding cities.

His current goal within the Army is to see new duty stations and serve until his retirement. His motivation to give 110% in everything he does is his son and the Soldiers to his left and right.

For that, we’d like to recognize him as our Sykes’ Regular of the week!

Check out Operation Deploy Your Dress (ODYD) on JBLM. They are an all-volunteer organization that provides no-cost, gently-used formal wear for use by military spouses. They allow two free dresses plus one accessory per calendar year with your military ID card. ODYD also accepts donations. Times are tough - keep some money in your pocket and check them out today!

ATTENTION!!!!!

New Location for the Egg Hunt will be at the 5-20 IN BN!

We will begin at the BN Honor Room at 4 p.m. and then search for eggs on the unit footprint. We will continue the festivities after the Egg Hunt with a raffle, bake sale, and games in the BN Honor Room.
