Team, I will never be able to thank you enough for serving each other and our family. You all made it happen, no matter what “it” was and I would not have accomplished a single task, requirement, or mission without your love and support. I love you all, Headhunters, and you all will hold a special place in my heart. I know that will propel the team to even higher successes under CPT Cardon’s leadership as the Commander ❤️🤍

ALCOHOL PROHIBITED AT JBLM PUBLIC ACCESS BEACHES

By order of the commander and effective immediately until further notice, alcohol is prohibited at JBLM public access American Lake beaches to include Shoreline, the Marina, Summer's Cove, and NCO Beach due to numerous incidents of indiscipline.

This effort is vital to our ability to keep these beaches open to all.

To protect life, health and safety there will be increased unit patrols and MP presence for enforcement.

Trash at JBLM beaches also remains a problem. Please pack out what you bring in. There are increased trash receptacles and extra bags for patron use.

We appreciate your cooperation and help in keeping our beaches a safe and beautiful place for everyone to enjoy.

Well, it may not have been a “Monday, Run-Day,” but you can bet some Headhunters 💀 enjoyed getting out for a fun little trot this morning with Bayonet 6 and the rest of our Bayonet teammates during the Division Run! An awesome way to start the day with the team, and a better way to start the !! Come on out and support your Saber teams as they look to win some hardware during a variety of sporting competitions this week!

ATTN : The 7ID Week of the Bayonet 7km run will kick off tomorrow at 0630 vicinity Ninth Division Road and Watkins Field. For motorists living in Broadmoor housing area and wishing to depart by vehicle between 0630-0730:

From 0630-0700: Exit Broadmoor via the North side on Ninth Division Road using Bitar, Clark, and Stryker Ave.

From 0700-0730: Exit Broadmoor via the South side using 6th Street at Stryker Avenue or Bitar.

Any motorists caught at an intersection while the runners are passing will be allowed through by road guards when there is a break in the formation.

The “sweet” side of this bittersweet day was welcoming LTC Perkins as the new “Saber 06” and CSM Anderson as the new “Saber 07!” As we start resuming operations back home in the , we are thrilled to welcome these two incredible to the Headhunter team and can’t wait to see the new heights we can work towards!

Remember when we said it was going to be an emotional week? PSA- get those feels ready for the 1-2 punch 👊🏻

Yesterday was a bittersweet day as we executed both the Change of Responsibility between CSM Blomberg and CSM Anderson, and the Change of Command between LTC Megerdoomian and LTC Perkins. CSM Blomberg, LTC Doom, and their families have all poured their heart and souls into our organization over the past 30 months (if you don’t have a calculator handy, that’s 2 and a half years)!! These two took our teams to Yakima, numerous CTCs, and to Korea and back, always with a smile and no hesitation. Words will never express the depth of gratitude that the Headhunters have for both of these tremendous . We love you both and wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors!
