Fort Lee Retiree Appreciation Day
📍 Fort Lee | 27 September

The Fort Lee Retiree Council was honored to co-host Retiree Appreciation Day alongside the Fort Lee Retirement Services Office (RSO) and the Garrison Commander. This year’s guest speaker, LTC-R Maria Bentinck, the Army’s Director of Retiree Affairs, delivered a powerful message that underscored the enduring value, future changes, and contributions of our retiree community.

We extend heartfelt thanks to all who supported and participated in making this event a success. Special appreciation goes to our sponsors, whose generosity made this day possible.

Looking ahead, we are excited to announce plans for a Retiree Banquet in 2026 to cap off the next Retiree Appreciation Day on 26 September 2026. We hope to see even more of our retiree family there!

Fort Lee Retiree Council members at the Run for the Fallen
📍 Fort Lee

The Council proudly participated in the Run for the Fallen, honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice. This event reminds us of the cost of freedom, the strength of our military community, and the importance of remembering those who gave all. Every boot, every dog tag mattered

We invite retirees and council members to continue showing support at events like these. Your presence keeps the memory of our fallen alive and ensures their legacy endures.

Did you run or walk and who did you show up for?
