🚁 Day 2 of Fort Harrison Day Camp was packed with adventure! 🚁

Today our campers got an up-close look at Army trucks and tanks, explored night vision goggles and thermal scopes, learned about radio communications, checked out Army robots, sampled MREs, and even enjoyed a visit from a Black Hawk helicopter!

From hands-on STEM activities to learning about military equipment, technology, and communication systems, our campers had an incredible day full of discovery, teamwork, and fun. We loved seeing their curiosity and excitement as they explored new skills and experiences.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make today possible, especially our military members and volunteers who took the time to share their knowledge and equipment with our campers.

We can’t wait to see what our final day has in store! 🚀

🚀 Day 1 of Fort Harrison Day Camp 2026 was a blast! 🚀

Today our campers launched into learning all about rockets and how they work! Each camper designed their own rocket and put their skills to the test by learning how to adjust for wind and aim their rockets to land in hula hoops. 🎯🚀

We also created our group guidons, worked on some valuable MRT (Master Resilience Training) skills, and started learning a few of our favorite line dances that we’ll be using again at Camp Runnamucka! 💃🕺

A huge thank you to our amazing Junior Counselors and adult volunteers for helping make today such a success. We couldn’t do it without you!

We’re already excited for another fun-filled day of adventure, learning, and memories tomorrow! 🌟
