"Before the nation had a birthday, it had an Army." 🪖

For 251 years, the United States Army has carried the mission forward as America’s oldest and largest military branch. From Rangers and Green Berets to armored brigades, field artillery, and the soldiers of The Old Guard who stand watch at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Army’s legacy reaches across battlefields, ceremonies, communities, and generations.

Today, Blue Star Families celebrates the soldiers, veterans, and families connected to the branch whose motto still says it best: “This We’ll Defend.”"

What a day at the farm! 🐴⭐

This weekend, Blue Star Families NY Tri-State brought military families together for an afternoon at SunnySide Farm with Every Horse Counts for a day the whole family could enjoy. Families explored the grounds, got hands-on grooming the horses, and created crafts to take home as a memory of the day. A huge thanks to Walden Savings Bank & Cornwall Lions Club & Foundation NY for helping make this amazing day happen!

This year we teamed up with T-Mobile for another unforgettable Military Spouse Appreciation Extravaganza to celebrate the strength, resilience and sacrifices of military spouses.

Attention Caregivers! ❤️

Music as medicine!

Join us for a morning of healing sound and uplifting drumming at the iconic Space at Irondale in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. This three hour workshop will be led by drummer Caleb Spaulding and hosted by Spiritune's Jamie Pabst.

Gain tools for managing stress and improving emotional regulation in a mutually supportive group of caregivers. Everyone will leave with the essentials to keep your practice going at home.

Date: Monday, May 18th

Location: The Space at Irondale

Time: 10 AM to 1 PM

Each participant will receive a yoga mat and free membership to Spiritune. Light refreshments will be served and movement clothes are recommended.
