Youth Empowerment Association,Inc,formerly known as It Gets Better FD & Beyond is an independent youth empowerment organization participates in our empathy campaign "Live For One Another" by working with our Vietnam veterans by raising awareness and funds to get them to D.C. through the Brushy Creek Honor Flight in Webster County.

We served dinner for the veterans going on the Brushy Creek Honor Flight this Saturday. Made us all feel so proud and honored.
Now we are getting ready for our 5 K run Memorial weekend to raise money for our veterans. Please come out and visit with us even if you don't want to run. Would love to meet our veterans we have in town. Thank you all for your service!

The Veterans Day on the Hill at the State Capitol is the primary show of force for veterans to remind the Iowa General Assembly that veterans are important. Anyone can attend. If you have a Veterans Organization Service Cap, or a vets baseball cap, or a regular service uniform cap, you are encouraged to wear it so people will know you are a “Veteran on the Hill!”.
A copy of the VNRC legislative program will be given to attending members so that you can share you issue concerns with your legislator.
