Fort Carson is getting a new rideshare service! The Carson Connector ride service will soft launch May 26. The app-based system, which mirrors those used by well-known rideshare providers, will link users to eight 15-passenger vans which will transport riders to designated pick-up/drop-off locations throughout the post’s cantonment area and Butts Airfield.

The Carson Connector ride service soft-launched May 26. The app-based system, which mirrors those used by well-known rideshare providers, will link users to eight 15-passenger vans which will transport riders to designated pick-up/drop-off locations throughout the post’s cantonment area and Butts Airfield. 🚙The service also provides access to two off Post locations, shopping and dining at South Academy Highlands and Pikes Peak State College’s Mountain Metro transfer station.

The service will be available to Soldiers, dependent family members, Department of Army Civilians, and contractors on Fort Carson.

REMINDER: STANDARDIZED TRAINING CLOSURE THURSDAY:
Beginning on Thursday, May 14, 2026, Evans Army Community Hospital will close from 8 a.m. to noon the second Thursday of every month to conduct standardized Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) training. During training, all departments and clinics, to include the laboratory, pharmacies and other ancillary services like radiology and physical therapy, will be closed. As always, the Emergency Department and Inpatient Services will remain open. This change is being implemented in accordance with recent Defense Health Agency guidance to standardize training times for all medical treatment facilities across the enterprise.

To wrap up Nurses Week 2026, the EACH Nursing Team hosted a closing event featuring remarks by Mr Nick Pacella, the EACH Chief of Quality and Safety, and recognized several nurses who distinguished themselves for their outstanding care and professionalism. Here at EACH all of our nurses lead with purpose, care with compassion and stand resilient in the face of every challenge. Please join us in thanking all nurses for all they do - not just this week, but every day, all year long. Happy Nurses Week!
