🚨 Smoke Alarm Recall Notice – Your Family’s Safety Matters 🚨
There has been a recent recall involving certain smoke alarms due to potential failure to alert occupants in the event of a fire. A smoke alarm that doesn’t work properly can mean the difference between life and death.
Please take a moment today to:
✔ Check the brand and model of your smoke alarms. Check it with this current recall.
✔ Test your alarms monthly
✔ Replace batteries as needed
✔ Replace units that are 10 years old or older.

♦️As a good reminder ♦️
Only buy UL Listed life-saving devices.
The UL mark (Underwriters Laboratories) means the alarm has been independently tested and meets national safety standards. Non-approved or off-brand devices may not activate when you need them most.
Your smoke alarm is your first line of defense. Make sure it’s tested, trusted, and UL approved.

Today marks 26 years since the line-of-duty death of Lieutenant Richard Owen Spink.

Lieutenant Spink had just completed a live burn structural training session on February 13, 2000, when he suffered a massive heart attack during the training critique. He was 48 years old.

He gave his life while preparing to protect others.

We honor his service, his dedication to training, and his sacrifice. His legacy lives on in every firefighter who trains hard and serves with pride.

We will never forget.

🚨 GENERATOR PSA 🚨

Using a generator indoors or in a garage = Carbon Monoxide poisoning risk.

💥Always use generators outside! Away from openings!💥

CO has no smell, no color, no warning — just deadly consequences.
✔️ Use generators outdoors
✔️ Keep them far from windows & doors
✔️ Install CO alarms on every level of your home

❄️🚒 See Red? Shovel Ahead!❄️🚒

After snowfall, please clear 3 feet around hydrants near your home.

Firefighters don’t want to play hide-and-seek when seconds count!

A quick shovel today could save a home tomorrow. 🏠🔥
