One of the worst days in America's history also saw some of the bravest acts. We'll always honor the heroes of 9/11. And here at this hallowed place, we pledge that we will never forget their sacrifice.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden and heartbreaking loss of one of our own, K9 Brick.
Brick passed away on Friday due to unexpected complications with his health. He was a young, spirited dog with a heart full of courage and loyalty.
In his time with us, Brick served his community with unmatched dedication and an eagerness to protect that inspired everyone who had the privilege of working beside him.
Though his time was far too short, his impact will be long remembered. Brick wasnโ€™t just a working dogโ€”he was a trusted partner, a cherished member of our team, and a beloved companion to his handler and everyone who knew him.
Rest easy, Brick. We will carry your legacy with pride

The last Sunday in September is Gold Star Mothers Day and Gold Star Families Day. Let us pause and remember the loss and sacrifice made by those who have paid the ultimate price and the families left behind who continue to live this sacrifice each and every day.

Today, we paused to honor the mothers and families who have given this nation their greatest treasure, their sons and daughters. Gold Star mothers and Gold Star families carry a weight most of us will never fully understand, a sacrifice that echoes through generations and across sacred ground like Arlington. As I reflect on the heroes and friends weโ€™ve lost, I am reminded again that freedom is never free. It is paid for by the love, courage, and heartbreak of families who answered the call and now bear the gold star. To every Gold star mother and family: your strength, resilience, and unwavering love inspires us all. We remember your loved ones. We honor their legacy. And we promise, your sacrifice will never be forgotten.

In this powerful ceremony, the rings of 73 West Point graduates were donated to be used in the making of rings for the Class of 2026. This week, West Point cadets walked the historic grounds of Normandy in solemn commemoration of the 81st Anniversary of D-Day. The visit provided a powerful reminder of the immense sacrifices made during Operation Overlord, an extraordinary display of courage, resolve, and selflessness. For our cadets, this served not only as a tribute to the past but also as a poignant reflection on the responsibility they will carry as future leaders of the U.S. Army. Experiences like this are essential to shaping leaders of character, deepening their connection to the Army Values of Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage, and reaffirming their commitment to the enduring principles of Duty, Honor, Country.
