When you think about Veterans Day, a lot comes to mind. We think about those who have gone before us and the sacrifices they made. We think about those who set the example for us to serve. We also think about those we have had the honor of serving with through the years.

Take some time today to reflect on what Veterans Day means to you. 1SG Hembre and I are proud to serve with these Paratroopers. They are the reason we keep going. The legacy of Attack Company is a storied one and we share it with many veterans across the nation. These Paratroopers are the inheritors of that fine legacy. Lastly, we thank our families and friends back home for your continual support. As we approach the holidays, our work does not slow down. We continue to work tirelessly to accomplish our mission. Know that our mission here matters and is vital to the continued safety of United States of America. It is a privilege to serve in the 82nd Airborne Division, just like so many veterans did before us.
