The 18th EOD is joining the EOD Warrior Foundation this year and competing in the EOD 136 Memorial Workout. We are also helping to raise funds for this incredible organization that helps wounded EOD techs and families of those who paid the ultimate sacrifice.

Rise and Shine. Run and Gun.

The 18th wrapped up 3 days of shooting last week including M17 and M4 qual as well as M2, M249, and M240 weapons familiarization. The ranges resulted in 100% qualification on all assigned weapon systems.

The 18th is only as good as the Soldiers and Techs that are in it. After a long VALEX week the Battalion Commander, LTC Murrell, recognized some incredible Soldiers for their selfless service, teamwork and hard work.

Congrats to 1LT Simpson, SGT Lee, SPC Ungar, SPC Dahlke, and SPC Werger. Well deserved!

Lead from the front applies to the gym as well. 18th hosted the first 1000lb lifting competition resulting in 6x Soldiers lifting over 1000lbs across three lifts: squat,bench, and deadlift.
