Family and Friends of Charlie Company, 2-58 IN:
We are pleased to announce that the Turning Green Ceremony is scheduled for 24 October 2025, beginning at 1100 on Pomeroy Field, Fort Benning, GA.
Key Details:
• A brief for friends and family will take place at 10:15 AM at the Regimental Chapel.
• The ceremony is open to family and friends.
• Trainees turning green will be given passes valid until 1900 on Monday 27 October 2025.
Visitor Pass Information:
All visitors must have a valid pass to come on post. Please scan the QR code for visitor pass information. We recommend applying for your pass early through the online system. If you are unable to complete it online, the visitor center at ACP 3 (I-185 Lindsey Creek Parkway) is available 24 hours a day. Please allow extra time to avoid delays, as there may be other events on that day.
Additionally, all personnel requesting unescorted access to Fort Benning who do not have a DOD ID card, Federal PIV, or an installation AIE pass/card must undergo a National Crime Information Center Interstate Identification Index (NCIC-III) background check. This check verifies the individual’s identity and checks their criminal history against the Army Fitness Adjudication Standards. If derogatory information is found, access will be denied.
Please be aware:
• All individuals 18 years and older in the vehicle must complete and pass a background check before being allowed unescorted access to the installation.
• To request an access pass, visit the Lindsey Creek Visitor Control Center. We strongly recommend requesting the pass early to avoid delays on the day of the event.
Reminder:
Trainees must return to the Company Training Area (CTA) at least 10 minutes before 1900 on 27 October to be in formation.
