Judi and I got up early this morning for our trip. After finally getting out of Forney and off Hwy 80 we made our way to DFW thanks to our driver, my son-in-law Mike Bailey. Once at the airport everything went smoothly and we were able to get a coffee at Starbucks before our flight. We landed in Miami and by the time we got to the baggage pickup our luggage was on the conveyor. Good timing. Out the door to taxi stand where taxi was waiting. It was just a short trip to the JW Marriott Marquis where we will spend the night before taking an Uber to the Port of Miami for our 14 day free all adult cruise to islands in the Eastern Caribbean.

Don’t forget - The Layden Senior Center of Forney will be CLOSED all next week. August 17 - 21.

A group of Seniors are meeting at Alfredo’s at 1:00pm for lunch Tuesday August 18. If you are interested it is located on the east bound service road on Hwy 80
