Hello,
I am Justin Beall and I wanted to introduce myself as a Borden County ISD school board candidate. My family and I moved to Fluvanna, where my wife, Jordan Stansell, was born and raised. Jordan is now the high school science teacher at Borden County, and we have two young daughters. Brynlee is in 1st grade and Brittyn is two years old. We are proud to be able to raise our daughters within this great community.
Borden County has an exceptional school system, and I would like to represent you as a school board member. I value education and went to college to become a teacher and coach. I attended McMurry University and got my bachelor's degree in education and I am a certified teacher. I taught and coached in San Angelo before my career changed paths and I moved to the oil and gas industry. Since changing careers, I have also got a master’s degree in Energy Management from Oklahoma City University. Currently, I serve as the Director of Operations for a prominent oil and gas company where I have honed the skills needed to manage complex budgets, handle multi-million-dollar projects, and navigate state and regulatory matters. These skills, particularly budget management and regulatory navigation, would be invaluable in ensuring our school district's financial stability and compliance. I believe my experience in education and the oil and gas industry has given me perspective and unique skills to bring to the table. As a former educator and coach, I found tremendous satisfaction in guiding children toward success, and I would like to still do that even though I am not in the classroom.
Our schools are facing new challenges due to the changes in education on both national and state levels. These changes directly impact our community here in Borden County. As a candidate, my focus is on the well-being of our children and sustaining the exceptional success and outstanding reputation that Borden County ISD has consistently demonstrated. Your vote is crucial as it will shape the future direction of our school. Let’s ensure that our education system continues to be a positive force in our community. Your choice at the polls this fall represents the education and values we want for our children.
