A very successful Day of Action in southern Denton County!

We’ve spent the day knocking doors and talking directly with voters across House District 63. At the door, one word kept coming up: AFFORDABILITY. There is still work to be done and I will go back to the Texas Capitol next session and deliver more tax cuts and eliminate government waste to ensure your money can stay in your pocket!

I'm grateful for this awesome group of volunteers who helped us take our message directly to the voters!

We have 44 days to the start of early voting and 59 days to Election Day. This campaign is moving at full speed and it isn’t slowing down any time soon!

What an incredible turnout tonight for the One Party, One Mission regional event here in Denton County!

The energy in the room was outstanding, and it was great to see so many friends, locals, and supporters come together around our shared mission.

Great being in Austin today to honor the life, courage, and sacrifice of U.S. Navy SEAL Nathan Gage Ingram of Trophy Club with our state’s highest military distinction, the Texas Legislative Medal of Honor.

It was one of the greatest honors of my service in the Legislature to pass the resolution recognizing Gage’s extraordinary heroism and ultimate sacrifice. Today, alongside his family, friends, the Governor, and Texans from across our state, we ensure his legacy will never be forgotten.

Gage represented the very best of Texas and the very best of America. May we always remember his courage, his service, and the sacrifice he made for our nation.

Congratulations to the Boys & Girls Club on opening their newest location right here in Lewisville today!

Their work provides young people with a safe place to learn, grow, and reach their full potential. We’re proud to welcome them to House District 63 and excited to see the positive impact they will have on kids and families across our community.

Back in Austin today for a House Pensions, Investments & Financial Services Committee hearing.

We’re hearing directly from the Teacher Retirement System of Texas and the Employees Retirement System of Texas about the long-term financial health of the retirement systems thousands of Texas teachers, public servants, and retirees depend on.

Keeping these systems strong, stable, and accountable is critical to honoring the commitments Texas has made to those who served our state.

Summer is winding down and campaign season is about to get kicked into gear. Soon, the signs will go up, the ads will be running on digital and print, and I’ll be out and about knocking on doors (I’ve already visited several of y’all). We’re so excited to see our classrooms, hallways, and campuses full again! Wishing all of our students, teachers, staff, and families a wonderful school year ahead.

Yesterday, I had the honor of joining Gov. Greg Abbott and First Lady Cecilia Abbott for the opening of Bob’s House of Hope, the nation’s first safe house exclusively for male survivors of human trafficking.

Texas continues to lead the nation in the fight against human trafficking. I’m proud to have worked the last two sessions to strengthen our laws, hold traffickers accountable, and protect victims.

Bob’s House of Hope is a reminder that our work doesn’t end with an arrest. It continues by helping survivors find hope, healing, and a path forward. Texas will always stand with survivors.
