We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to every individual and business who helped make this year’s “Fill the Cruiser” Toy Drive such a success.

A special thank you to United Bank, Dollar General (Pollard), Dollar General (Century), Family Dollar (Century), Flomaton Fire Department, Weaver Monument Co., McDaniel Automotive, Stay Golden Tanning, Bart Johnson, Alabama Power, Christ Descendents Motorcycle Ministry, and Fat Mommas Car Freshies for your generosity and support.

It has truly been humbling for everyone at the Police Department to watch our community come together to help put smiles on children’s faces this Christmas season. This year (55) children were gifted with toys, all made possible by the community.

Big shoutout to Brandy with Fat Mommas Car Freshies!

Brandy consistently goes above and beyond in her support of our police department and never asks for recognition. Today, we wanted to take a moment to recognize her not only for what she does for our department, but for the impact she has on our community as a whole.

Pictured below is just one example of her generosity: small toys and candy she donated for our officers to hand out to children in the community. Acts like these help strengthen relationships and bring smiles to so many faces.

A local business owner from the Ice Cream Depot, hosted a birthday party for one of our junior officers "Coco" but things got a little out of hand when she started handing out way too many scoops of ice cream and had to be “detained” by officers on scene 😂

All jokes aside, the kids had a great time celebrating and enjoyed getting a tour of our patrol units. Thank you to the Ice Cream Depot for supporting our community and helping make the day special for our junior officer. The Flomaton Police Department truly enjoys every opportunity to interact with the community we serve on a positive note.

We had a special visit today from Christ Descendents out of Pensacola, Florida. Not only did they participate in our local Christmas Parade, but they went a step further by stopping by the Police Department to refill our “Fill the Cruiser” toy box.

This visit was a great interaction and provided a lot of encouragement as we continue pushing forward for the good of our community. We truly appreciate their generosity and support and look forward to partnering with this wonderful group again in the near future on other endeavors.
