Fleetwood Bank is once again teaming up with Berks Encore- Mifflin Center to offer a FREE seminar that is open to the public on Thursday, September 4 at 11:30 AM. We'll provide an overview of what fraud is and the common types of fraud being seen at this time, how to protect yourself from becoming victim to fraud, what steps you should take if you do fall victim to fraud, and real-life stories of local fraud attempts.

➡️ It is important to realize that everyone can benefit from taking some time to educate themselves on this topic – especially as technology advances and scammers become smarter. While the elderly are usually a favorite of scammers to target, with $77.7 billion of the globally reported fraud in 2023 being linked to elderly victims, fraud can happen to anyone.

WE ARE HIRING!
Berks Encore is looking for a Care Manager to fill a full-time, 35 hours per week with office hours 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. In this position, you will be instrumental in completing initial assessments for our Meals on Wheels, Care+ and Be Nourished programs.
The position requires triaging incoming referrals from hospital discharges and doctor referrals, as well as scheduling in-home visits, and managing/coordinating the delivery of services needed to meet each consumer’s needs.
The Care Manager will work closely with doctor’s, community participants, family, and the Berks Encore VP of social services to coordinate comprehensive care. Bilingual skills a definite plus.

Summary of essential job functions:
*Act as a support system for both client and family
*Develop educational resources to assist each client in understanding the services available to their individual needs.
*Complete home visits
*Track progress and report findings to family, doctor, and Berks Encore
*Provide ongoing monitoring
