Due to the severe weather system expected to move in this afternoon, County facilities and the Court System closed today, March 16, at 12 p.m. (noon).

Board of Commissioners events have been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 17, at the Historic Courthouse:
• State of the County Address at 6 p.m.
• Board of Commissioners Regular Meeting at 6:45 p.m.

Additionally, in partnership with the City of Fayetteville, NC Government, Cornerstone Christian Empowerment Center and The Salvation Army of the Sandhills Region, we will open White Flag Shelters this evening.

Weather forecasts include damaging winds, possible tornadoes, large hail and lightning. Please continue monitoring official County channels for updates.
