日本の政治家はベンゾジアゼピン系処方薬について語り始める

３月２９日に、衆議院厚生労働委員会においてベンゾジアゼピン系処方薬による離脱症状について質疑されました。 公明党厚労部会長いさ進一議員が、ベンゾジアゼピン副作用を質問しています。

注：急に断薬した場合の離脱症状のリスクについて言及されていますが、緩やかな漸減でも、また減薬せずに服用したままでも、耐性や薬効消失により離脱反応・離脱症状がよく起こることにご留意ください。

長年の共同なロビー活動や患者からの手紙に続き、ベンゾジアゼピン系処方薬剤による依存症および有害作用や副作用に関する深刻な問題がようやく国のレベルで取り上げられています。

参議院会館での面談（ベンゾについて）

4月13日に、川田龍平の事務所において、薬害オンブズパースン会議代表の別府宏圀医師とジス環境改善会代表の川島さんと一緒にベンゾジアゼピン系薬剤による薬害についての面談に出席をさせていただきました。

面談の目的は、厚生労働省が公表した「重篤副作用疾患別対応マニュアル」（ベンゾジアゼピン受容体作動薬の治療薬依存）と題するマニュアルの改正と必要な行政措置を訴えること。

この面談を企画したのは、川島さんで、上記マニュアルの改訂を求める要望書（22頁）も提出してきました。

クリニック花草の増田さやか院長、フリーライター嶋田和子、The Benzodiazepine Medical Disaster翻訳者の金澤眞智子、ジス環境改善会副代表の森田貴子もズームを使って遠隔で参加しました。

川田議員は、少し疲れている様子で多忙の中でしたが、積極的に参加者の意見を聞いて頂いて、有意義な面談になったと思います。

ベンゾ薬害当事者のビデオ投稿募集中！

国際映画への撮影を投稿し、注意喚起に参加をしませんか？
As Prescribedという映画の監督は、ショート撮影の投稿者を募集しています。

監督はこう言います。

映画の国際放送のため、A Prescribedのより短いバージョンを作成しています。
We are in the process of editing a shorter version of As Prescribed for international broadcast purposes.

以前の投稿されたものも非常に良かったですが、追加の撮影投稿を望んでいます。
We have a folder with some great videos recorded previously and we are now looking for more.

やりかたはとても簡単です。
The task is straightforward.

スマートフォンのカメラでも結構ですが、数分程度で、水平の撮影で母国語を使って、ベンゾジアゼピン系薬剤処方内服による薬害経験について、簡潔にまとめて語ってください（たとえば、出身地、処方目的、ベンゾの種類、内服量・期間、医師に言われたこと、薬害の影響など）。
Please make a video with a camera or a cellphone (using the horizontal option) and record a short statement in your native language about your experience with a benzodiazepine.

処方内服ベンゾの種類についても述べて結構です。
Feel free to name the benzodiazepine you were prescribed.

また、ベンゾ薬害問題の改善ですが、どんなような結果を望んでいるのか、お話ください。母国名や出身地も教えてください。
Please include a statement about your hopes for change where you live and name the country or territory.

Given recent events, it is likely those responsible for the recent subversion / decommissioning of W-BAD and their supporters, combined with others who appear to share ulterior interests, will be watching this carefully and rubbing their hands with glee at the prospect of driving a wedge between the good work that Michelle and I have achieved together in reviving the W-BAD platform, as based on recent history, they would likely relish any opportunity to see it result in failure and total collapse – to end the people’s day – your day.

In the lead up to W-BAD 2022, some concerns have been raised over the changing back in leadership, values and Michelle’s connection to W-BAD. These and the respective responses can be seen at the link below.

W-BAD may still be a bit of a hot issue, so it’s understandable if some people might be sitting on the side-lines a bit.

As stated in the relaunch notice, the main event for 2020 will likely have been its very resurrection.

In response to the previous ongoing largescale dismantling and dehumanising of the W-BAD platform, a public call was put out on 4 July 2020, along with The W-BAD Report and The W-BAD Chronicle, asking for basic requirements to be met.

Listed in the possible outcomes of this report was abandonment of W-BAD by those responsible for the damages, which has indeed turned out to be the case accompanied by decommissioning, and regrettably, total destruction of the platform (before an all-out effort from Michelle and I to resurrect it with an entire rebuild having taken place on top of that effort).

It was additionally stated that in such a case, the platform would likely have to sit idle for a few years due to the need to tend to the serious damages to my own life and ongoing state of borderline homelessness.

That being said, people are still invited to participate in W-BAD 2020 on July 11 in whatever way you can. Being a Monday, some people may wish to get started earlier over the weekend period. Late entries are also welcome.

Please also remember that this is Prof. Heather Ashton’s birthday – a time when we can all pay tribute for her invaluable contributions to the cause and keep this day alive to help raise global awareness about the scourge of the global BZ pandemic that affects us all.

One of the easiest ways to participate in World Benzodiazepine Awareness Day on July 11 is to use one of the W-BAD Profile Pics from the link below.

Simply choose a W-BAD Profile Pic based on your colour preference.

After it expands, right click on the image and choose “save image as”.

After saving the image to your PC, go to your page.

Then click on the small camera icon adjacent to the small circular image next to your name.
