Stella was found in a Rockwall citizen’s garage stuck to a sticky trap. Soon after, she developed coccidia and Giardia and needed medication, specialized food, and supportive care.

Because help was there, Stella recovered and was adopted by a loving family.

🐾🎶 MEET PORTER & JOSHUA — OUR BIG COUNTRY BOYS! 🎶🐾

We’ve got a couple of country stars looking for their forever homes! 🤠❤️

Porter & Joshua are handsome 3-month-old Anatolian Shepherd mixes who were found near I-30 and John King and sadly were never reclaimed. At 38 pounds and 32 pounds, these boys are already BIG puppies with plenty more growing to do!

🎤 Porter was named after Porter Wagoner, Dolly Parton’s longtime musical partner who played an important role early in her career.

🎵 Joshua gets his name from Dolly Parton’s song “Joshua.”

These two may have country-inspired names, but what they really need is a family to help them write their next chapter. 🏡 Both are still very much puppies and will need continued work with potty training, leash skills, basic manners, socialization, and learning how to be well-mannered big boys. Their families should be prepared for all the energy, mischief, supervision, and commitment that comes with raising a large-breed puppy.

💙 Adoption fee: $125 each
Their adoption fee includes neuter, microchip, rabies vaccination, and boosters to date.

📅 IMPORTANT: Porter and Joshua are required to return Wednesday, September 2, 2026, for their scheduled neuter and rabies vaccination. This appointment is nonnegotiable and required in accordance with Texas State law.

An approved online adoption application is required for meet and greets and adoption.

Neil is a handsome 1-year-old Domestic Short Hair who is ready for the fresh start he deserves. This sweet boy came to us from a severe hoarding situation and is still learning what it means to receive individual love, attention, and care. ❤️

Neil is a gentle, quiet guy who does well with other cats and would be a wonderful addition to a feline-friendly home. Because of his past, he may need some extra time to feel safe and comfortable with his new family. A calm home with patient people who allow him to adjust at his own pace would be perfect for him.

Today was an extra special day at Rockwall Adoption Center because Cricket and Ladybug found their forever home together!

These two sweet puppies are officially starting their next chapter side by side with a family of their very own, and we could not be happier for them. There is something especially wonderful about seeing two little ones leave the shelter together knowing they will continue growing up with each other and with a family who chose to give them both a home.

Congratulations to Cricket and Ladybug, and a huge thank you to their adopters for choosing adoption and welcoming both girls into their family.

Happy Tails, sweet girls! We wish you a lifetime of love, adventures, and wonderful memories together in your new home.
