While I don’t have direct experience in the political field, I have developed the ability to think critically and approach challenges through higher education, community involvement, and various work experience. I have a genuine interest in the betterment of Faribault and a willingness to learn and listen.

As a full-time employee that depends on my job to provide for myself and my family, I represent a large population of Faribault citizens. I intend to improve our quality of life through utilization of resources that are available to reduce the financial stresses on the majority of Faribault residents.

I am concerned about the expanding technology that tracks and records citizens. While the intent may be to protect our city, these technologies create an infrastructure for authoritarian surveillance and jeopardizes privacy and autonomy. As a City Councilor I would be appropriately critical of policies that support surveillance implementation.

Working in healthcare I witness barriers to accessibility daily. It is essential that transportation, interpreters, and physical accessibility features are present to allow everyone to get the care and services they need. I intend to prioritize the utilization and implementation of accessibility features throughout Faribault.
