Northeastern Pawnee County in southeastern Nebraska...

* Until 445 PM CDT.

* At 401 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Syracuse to 3 miles north of Table Rock, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.

Johnson, Talmage, Dunbar, and Lorton around 405 PM CDT.
Brock around 410 PM CDT.
Nebraska City, Auburn, and Julian around 420 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these severe thunderstorms include
Peru, Nemaha and Brownville.

This includes Interstate 29 between mile markers 4 and 17.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for southeastern Nebraska. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for southwestern Iowa.

On April 20, 2026 Richardson County Emergency Management will be conducting siren maintenance between 10am-2pm. During these hours you will hear the sirens sound periodically. If inclement weather is predicted we will postpone the maintenance.
