There will always be plenty wrong with the world to talk about. But Jesus called us to something greater than pointing at darkness. Love differently. Forgive freely. Speak truth. Serve people. Carry His presence wherever you go. Today, give someone a reason to see Jesus through you.

Don’t let your faith end at the church doors.

The world doesn’t need more people who simply attend services. It needs people who carry the heart of Jesus into everyday life.

Be the Church in the way you speak.
In the way you forgive.
In the way you love people who can offer you nothing in return.

Because sermons can inspire people for a moment,
but a life that reflects Christ can impact someone forever.

So after the final song ends and the lights go off,
keep preaching the Gospel with the way you live.

Be the Church beyond the walls. 🤍🙏🏻

When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped inside her, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. Then she exclaimed with a loud cry, “Blessed are you among women, and your child will be blessed!" (Luke 1:41-42)

Elizabeth is one of my favorite people we meet in the Christmas story, and I want to be more like her. Elizabeth saw God's calling on Mary's life, and she saw Mary's faithfulness in that calling. She saw it and she pointed it out to Mary!

This Christmas season, take time to really see the women around you who are being faithful to God's calling. Make sure they know you see them. You can encourage them in the same way Elizabeth encouraged Mary, "You are blessed, and others are blessed by you!"

"God blessed you with such a beautiful singing voice, and our church family is blessed when you lead us during our services."

"God blessed you with such creativity, and I love seeing all the ways you and your kids celebrate Christmas. They are blessed by your work and will always have the memories you are making together!"

"God blessed you with the gift of encouragement, and when I see you comment on Facebook when someone shares how hard this Christmas season is for them, your tender heart and empathy are a blessing to them and to me."

Let's be Elizabeths to all the Marys we meet!
