Well… Mother Nature has entered the group chat and chosen chaos.

Wednesday's Food Truck Frenzy is officially rained out. Soggy tacos and floating fries weren’t really the experience we were going for.

BUT don’t worry, this isn’t the end of the deliciousness…

We’re back at it on June 3rd — same place, same time, hopefully with skies that understand the assignment.

Mark your calendars, tell your friends, and start dreaming about food that isn’t served with a side of rainwater.

Our first stop: Fair Haven!

We’re partnering with Slate Valley Cares and will be bringing our services to YOU on May 5th from 12-2pm.

Stop by for a free basic health screening, including:
-Blood pressure & glucose screening
-Lipids point of care testing
-Ni****ne replacement therapy (NRT)

Have you thought about hosting a block party or neighborhood gathering on your street? There’s support available to make it happen. Local Motion, in partnership with AARP-VT, Preservation Trust of Vermont, and Front Porch Forum, is launching the Streets as Places micro-grant program, offering up to $500 and hands-on support for neighborhood gatherings across Vermont.

If anyone in Fair Haven is interested in hosting a qualifying event and would like any support applying for this grant and planning, please contact me.

The grant application deadline is April 22.
