🚧 Street Maintenance Begins Next Week in Shorewood

The City of Shorewood will be completing crack filling and pavement sealing on select city streets beginning September 8. These preventative maintenance treatments help extend the life of our roads and reduce the need for more costly repairs in the future.

✅ Crack filling is scheduled to begin September 8
✅ Pavement sealing is scheduled to begin September 10
✅ Work is weather dependent and expected to be completed by the end of next week

Residents on affected streets will receive advance notice and temporary no-parking signs before pavement sealing begins. Please move vehicles when signs are posted, avoid driving on treated pavement until roads reopen, and use caution near work crews.

What a fantastic day at South Lake Safety Camp! 🎉🚒🚓

A huge thank you to all the campers, volunteers, instructors, firefighters, police officers, and staff who made this year's camp such a success.

Campers spent the day learning valuable safety skills, building confidence, and having fun through hands-on activities and demonstrations. We loved seeing so much enthusiasm, curiosity, and teamwork throughout the day.

Thank you to everyone who helped create another memorable and meaningful experience for our community. We can't wait to see you next year!

The City of Shorewood is seeking resident feedback on its Tree Preservation Policy as part of a review and update process planned for 2026. The policy, which has not been updated since 2004, helps protect the trees and wooded character that make Shorewood unique.
