The League of Women Voters of South Tonka is established on the belief that information and knowledge are essential for the voter of today. Our goal is to encourage woman and men to become informed and active in shaping the decisions made within our democracy -- on local, state, national, and international levels. Some of our most recent programs covered emergency preparedness, immigration, qualit

y of lake water, ground water availability and quality, the importance of the 2010 census, the voter photo id issue, and education. We also have "just social meetings" of course! In our group you will have the ability to associate with women and men who, like you, are busy but interested and caring. You will get to know active, involved people in the community. Leaguers vary in age, political affiliation, occupation and educational background. Men are also welcomed as members.
