Snohomish County offices are closed in observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 25, 2026.

All residents are encouraged to honor this day of remembrance for those who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our nation. There is a national moment of remembrance at 3 p.m. to pause for one minute of silence.

County leaders were joined by the Command Master Chief of Naval Station Everett, the Mayor of Everett, the Lynnwood Times, and other guests to recognize Memorial Day during a County Council meeting last week. You can watch the resolution, proclamation and remarks honoring Memorial Day here: https://cloud.castus.tv/vod/snoco/video/6a0decafae8c2f0002cd521b?page=HOME&start=402
