As spring arrives,we know our community members will be engaging in spring cleaning and leaf/brush burning. We kindly ask that you inform dispatch at 9186892526 or 9184734555 about any planned burns. This helps us minimize unnecessary trips to your location. In case a controlled burn escalates, please contact 911 immediately.

Up for sealed bids. 1993 F-350 single wheel crew cab long bed. It has a 351 and runs and drives. Truck is a retired military truck that was acquired by us in 2018. Truck has served us great but it’s time to let her go. If you wish to look at the truck you can call 9186897805 and leave a voicemail or you can text that number and Chief Ross will set up a time to meet. Truck can be seen at Texanna station 1 located 5 miles east of Hwy 69 on Texanna rd. All bids must be in by March 12th. To submit a bid enclose your amount, name and a good contact number and mail them to P.O.Box 790 Eufaula Ok, 74432 or drop them off in the mail slot on the front of the fire department. Bids will be opened on March 12th at 6pm during a regularly scheduled board meeting.

It’s that time of year. We ask you to please drive sober and to check your smoke alarms. A Uber/ Lyft driver or DD is cheaper then a dui or someone’s life. Also batteries are cheaper than a new home or someone’s life. Please make good choices.

With last nights storm, if your needing to dispose of your tree limbs, please feel free to bring them down the the fire department and place them in our brush pile. We have opened our gate to the field so you can pull up to the pile easier.
