UPDATE: May 06, 2026 – Boil Water Notice Lifted – Joy Meadows Circle

Good news — the Precautionary Boil Water Notice for Joy Meadows Circle has been lifted.

Water testing has confirmed the system is safe, and normal use can resume.

🚧 Boil Water Notice – Joy Meadows Circle

A water main break required us to shut down the line on Joy Meadows Circle, which caused a drop in water pressure.

Because of this, a Precautionary Boil Water Notice is now in effect for customers on that street.

👉 Please boil any water used for:
• Drinking
• Cooking
• Ice
• Brushing teeth
• Washing dishes

Bring water to a rolling boil for at least 1 minute, or use bottled water.

We’ll update everyone as soon as testing confirms the water is safe.

Reel Faith Fishing Day Tournament – Kids Fishing Event!

🐟Calling all young anglers from Bonifay, Esto, and the surrounding communities! Bring the kids out for a morning of fishing, fun, and fellowship at the Reel Faith Fishing Day Tournament at John Clark Park.

📅 Date: April 25, 2026
🕗 Time: 8:00 AM – 12:00 Noon
📍 Location: John Clark Park

This event is open to kids ages 4–16, and the FIRST 50 kids who register will receive a FREE fishing pole, so be sure to sign up early!

🏆 Two Age Divisions
• Ages 4–10
• Ages 11–16

Each division will compete for prizes in two categories:
🐟 Longest Fish
⚖️ Heaviest Fish

🎁 Prizes: Winners will receive a fully stocked backpack tackle box!

🎣 All bait will be provided, and all fish species count.
If the free poles run out, participants are still welcome to bring their own fishing gear and still compete.

🍿 Carnival-style foods will be available during the event.
This is a great chance for kids to enjoy the outdoors, learn to fish, and spend time with family and friends. Whether it’s their first fish or their biggest catch yet, it’s going to be a great day on the water!

Public Meeting – FDEP Resiliency Grant Final Adaptation Plan

The Town of Esto will host a public meeting on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at 5:00 PM at Town Hall.

Alday-Howell Engineering, Inc. will present the Final Adaptation Plan developed under Esto’s FDEP Resiliency Grant.

This grant, awarded in 2023, has supported the Town’s efforts to develop a long-term plan to address stormwater drainage, street flooding, and increasingly severe storm events. Over the past two years, Alday-Howell has provided updates as the plan was developed, including conceptual designs for improved storm drainage systems.

With completion of the plan, the Town will be positioned to pursue future funding to implement these improvements, including new storm drains and street paving projects to better manage stormwater and reduce flooding.

The public is encouraged to attend.
The regular Town Council Meeting will follow at 6:00 PM.
