One unexpected perk of the legislative session finally ending? Getting back to regular physical therapy appointments.

After months of long days, countless hours and sitting in committee rooms, I’m grateful to be focusing on managing my chronic back pain and taking care of my health. A good reminder that we all need to make time for ourselves, even when life gets busy. Thanks to for taking such good care of me.

It’s difficult to hold a single emotion about what is happening in Iran!

The recent events could be a chance for change or more bloodshed and instability.

I grieve for the violence, the innocent lives lost, and the uncertainty ahead. I also feel a quiet hope that whatever comes next might finally open room for real change, not because a leader fell, but because the people of Iran deserve dignity and freedom without bloodshed.
