You are both outstanding young women whose exceptional middot and leadership have emulated in our Jr Congregation.
Whether
- leading trivia at annual grade luncheons
- leading art projects at the back to Shul kickoffs
- or just showing up Shabbos morning and leading tefilah
Your consistency and has been a reliable presence we can all count on *to lead our youth with love and sincerity*
Tonight I share mixed emotions. - saddened that I will not have you two women by my side next year
Emily will be at Bar Ilan in Israel before Cooper Union in Manhattan
Talia at MMY in Israel before Stern College for Women.
Saddened yes, but also excited, honored, and humbled to celebrate your accomplishments this evening, and to play a small role in acknowledging our recognition for everything you both have done for the youth, parents, and families of Ahavat Torah.
