What else should we consider when curating a wellness support space for AANHPI community leaders?

As the cost of living continues to rise, many AANHPI individuals and families are being forced to make impossible tradeoffs.

We asked Geri from Aurora Mental Health & Recovery about what she’d tell policymakers about equitable mental health affordability access.

Now your turn, comment below: What do you wish policymakers understood about how the cost of living and healthcare affordability impact mental health in our communities?

Did you know financial abuse occurs in 99% of domestic violence cases? The growing unaffordability of mental health services are placing significant financial strain on communities that already face systemic barriers to care.

We asked Reiko from Aurora Mental Health & Recovery about what she wishes policymakers understood about how the cost of living and healthcare affordability are impacting mental health in our community.

Now your turn, comment below: What do you wish policymakers understood about how the cost of living is preventing access to health care support in our communities?

No one should have to choose between putting food on the table and seeking mental health support.

We asked Brandon from Highlands Ranch, about his personal relationship to equitable access to mental health support.

If there was one thing you’d want your policy maker to understand about mental health affordability, what would it be? Comment below!
