Dr. Valerie H. Bridges – Assistant Superintendent

Dr. Bridges brings over 30 years of educational experience to our district. As a past North Carolina Superintendent of the Year, she has a proven track record of boosting school growth and fostering excellence.

Crystal D. Phillips – Executive Director of Student Support Services

Ms. Phillips joins us with 26+ years of experience across Virginia and North Carolina. As a passionate student advocate, she is focused on ensuring every student has the inclusive resources they need to thrive.

We are so excited for the leadership, energy, and expertise they will bring to our team this upcoming school year. Together, we will support, inspire, empower, and achieve!
