Jones County Sheriff’s Department personnel spoke to South Jones High School juniors and seniors about Prom Safety this morning in the South Jones Performing Arts Center.

JCSD Patrol Division Captain JD Carter, Reserve Deputy Kyle Brooks, and Grants Administrator Lance Chancellor were joined by Ellisville Fire Department Chief Brent Chennault. Prom Safety topics included the consequences of impaired driving, alcohol and drug use, seat belt usage, having multiple contacts to call for a sober ride, and how quickly your life can change or end due to making poor decisions.

The South Jones Prom is this Friday night. Drive Sober. Wear Your Seat Belt. Have A Sober Designated Driver. Make Smart Decisions. See You Back At School On Tuesday!
