💛 Lighting Up the Courthouse for Childhood Cancer Awareness 💛

On September 2nd and 3rd, the Randolph County Commissioners proudly lit up the Courthouse in yellow in recognition of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

Each yellow light represents hope, strength, and support for children and families facing childhood cancer. 💛🎗️

We are grateful to our Commissioners for helping shine a light on this important cause and for standing with the brave children, survivors, families, and loved ones affected by childhood cancer.

Together, we can raise awareness, show support, and remind every child fighting cancer that they are not alone. 💛

SEPTEMBER IS NATIONAL VOTER REGISTRATION MONTH (NVRM)! WV Secretary of State Kris Warner is encouraging every eligible citizen to take a few minutes this month to verify their voter registration status, update their information if necessary, or register to vote for the very first time.

All of this can be done in person by visiting your local county clerk or online at GoVoteWV.com.

The National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) created NVRM in 2002 to boost voter participation and raise awareness about state-specific voting requirements and deadlines.

Letters going out to those affected by the recent closure of North Elementary School today.

Voters please make note of the change in polling location. Precincts 80 and 160, will now vote at Elkins High School.

WEST VIRGINIA IS GAINING NATIONAL RECOGNITION. WV Secretary of State Kris Warner was recently elected to serve as Vice President of the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) and reappointed as the National Co-Chair of the NASS Elections Committee. Secretary Warner's appointment was announced during the 109th annual NASS 2026 Summer Conference held in Rapid City, South Dakota. Secretary Warner and Vermont Secretary of State Sarah Copeland Hanzas will Co-Chair the Elections Committee until July 2027.

Additionally, Secretary Warner was elected by his peers from other states to serve on the NASS Executive Board as the Southern Region-Vice President. Executive Board members will also serve until the conclusion of the NASS 2027 Summer Conference.

The Randolph County Clerk's Office extends its condolences to the See family. Commissioner See was a tremendous asset to the County. He will be missed!
