Yesterday at Wild West Days in Zimmerman was such a wonderful reminder of what makes small-town communities so special. It was an honor to shake the hands of so many of you - the kiddos, parents, grandparents, and taxpayers who came out proudly supporting your town and showing your American pride.

As we head into a summer of celebrations, there is something especially meaningful about this year as our nation marks America’s 250th year. The spirit of community, patriotism, and coming together is only just beginning.

I’m especially thankful for everyone who showed up to support the campaign and stand alongside us as we continue advocating for our youth, strengthening our community, and protecting the values that matter most.

Thank you for your support, your conversations, and your encouragement. We’re just getting started.🇺🇸

Happy Saturday with SUNSHINE!!

In our home, we tend to BOTH desire that time on the tractor taking care of chores because it gives us space to just sit with our thoughts.

Thoughts for today: Life takes A LOT! Having lines (like these beautiful ones cut today) is important. It takes knowledge, wisdom, and action. I am sure most of you who know me know that I am a doer, fighter for what is right, and willing to put myself on the front line. This seems to be driven from my heart. Love. The power behind that has shaped the woman I am today. With this calling to step up and lean in for all of you and our community, I ask for your support and input on things that you love or matter to you! For me in this role (should I be elected), it’s having faith that my kids will not be strangled financially and able to cut lines like this someday. It’s trusting the schools know the line with our children’s upbringing (specifically values and beliefs) is shaped at home. And it’s knowing my kiddos come home knowing how to read, write, understand science and math, and have learned real life doer skills to get whatever calling or mission done effectively that they have been called to.

Navigating life with sports, school, work, and Mother Nature finally giving us some warmer weather can get a bit busy at times… I somehow managed to get ahead on a few campaign projects!

I am all about getting our kids out there to engage in team sports! This was only a dream when I was in grade school! Looking forward to seeing our girls have opportunities we did not! 🙌🏻

Veterans are encouraged to participate in our upcoming Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 25, at 10:00 a.m. The parade honors those who have served, given their lives serving, or currently defend our country as members of the armed forces. School boards were created to give communities a voice in education and that still matters today.

They were never meant to be ceremonial positions. They exist to provide oversight, ask questions, protect taxpayer dollars, and help ensure schools are serving students, families, and the community well.

I believe informed voters make stronger communities, which is why understanding the history and purpose of school boards matters.

Our schools deserve leadership that listens, learns, and leads with accountability.
