She's stepping out of the cafeteria and into the spotlight, and she is ready to SERVE! Elgin Pride is thrilled to announce our 2026 parade marshal, Linda the Lunch Lady! Linda will lead us down our new, longer parade route on June 6 in style, flanked by a royal court featuring talent from Launch Of Legends Drag Show. Impeccable!

Tomorrow starts Elgin Pride Week, and our besties are SHOWING OUT!
❤ Monday: Field trip to see our pals Belong: Fox Valley at their legendary Cheers, Qu**rs at Sturdy Shelter Brewing in Batavia
💛 Tuesday: Warm up for Saturday with karaoke with KJ Bear at The Dive Bar
💚 Thursday: Head to Martini Room for BellyDance in the Burbs: Shimmy with Pride from Mahira BellyDance of Chicagoland
🖤 Friday: RISE Pride Month Art Exhibit Opening at Side Street Studio Arts
💙 Saturday: 11 AM -5 PM: Elgin's fourth annual Pride parade & festival!
💜 Saturday: 8 PM: the OFFICIAL Elgin Pride Afterparty at Martini Room

We're just one week away from a joyful, inclusive, family-friendly, all-ages day in downtown Elgin and Festival Park! The fourth annual Elgin Pride parade is June 6, and we can't wait to celebrate with you. Stay tuned for special announcements all week long.
Here's a big announcement -- a bigger route! We still kick off at Prairie & Riverside and turn on Chicago Street, but this year we go a block longer and turn down Spring Street!
