🏳️‍🌈Happy to all who celebrate. 🏳️‍🌈

To those who may not share in that celebration, I simply ask for you to embody the spirit of our community and show love, compassion, and respect. Our LGBTQ+ neighbors, friends, family members, and community members deserve to live openly, safely, and with dignity.

I also challenge our elected leaders to do more than offer empty symbolic gestures during Pride Month to do better and actually pass ordinances that make El Paso safer, create boards to fight the injustices, and to be better allies all year long. Making El Paso a safer, more welcoming place for everyone requires action (the same actions I proposed in 2023), not just words.

“ Pride can be a challenging period for many individuals within our community. Whether it's the anxiety of coming out to loved ones, facing hate and misunderstandings from strangers, or grappling with the self-doubt that often accompanies the journey to authenticity, it's not easy. Regardless of where you find yourself on this path, remember that our movement will always stand by you. Together, we move forward!”

Friends,

Today is the last day to vote in the Democratic or Republican Primary Run-off. We often feel like the Northeast is ignored (and we are right), but I’ll be honest to you that’s due to a lack of participation and a lack of voting.

If you are voting in the Democratic Primary Run-off today we can history by voting for Christie Saiz for Justice of the Peace PCT 2.

Christie is running to tackle the 20,000+ backlog cases that have left many in our community behind, to create a system to address truancy that helps our youth get back on track, to ensure the office operates with integrity and it works for working-class families, and to help address the animal welfare issue impacting our community.

Today many of us in our community will be spending time remembering, mounding, and honoring those brave men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice while serving our nation.

Memorial Day is beyond the barbecues and gatherings, Memorial Day is a time to reflect on the courage and sacrifices of our military services. It’s. It not a time to wish those who served a happy day or to thank a veteran for their service (that’s what Veterans Day and armed services day is for).

Today I will be remembering and reflecting on the life of my Grandfathers CW4 Ralph Lawrence and PFC Melvin Pike 🕯️

There are two things I’m always proud to do in our community!

1. Support local businesses like pinoyheat915
2. Community organizing and voting for good candidates like saizchristie who will fight like hell to fix our broken JP court here in Northeast El Paso!

It’s the first day of early voting and we’re excited to go vote for saizchristie!

We’re proud to endorse Christie Saiz for Justice of the Peace PCT 2 because the Northeast deserves a fighter who cares about working-class families, ends the rampant neglect of our youth, addresses the 20kt cases in backlog, takes a stand for animal welfare, and ensures the court works for those who need it most!

If one thing is clears it’s that the incumbent has fallen asleep at the wheel and it’s working class families is that have suffered

Early voting starts TODAY May 18th and goes through 22nd and Election Day is May 26th.

I want to extend my immense gratitude to the Osterland Family and the for stepping up to save a corner stone of our community and turning it into something even better for our community.

For decades the Northeast has been neglected by leaders at city hall, we’ve always been told that our side of town doesn’t deserve the latest and greatest, we’ve been called the “ghetto” and the “most dangerous side of town” (even when the statistics show otherwise), but now our community has a real chance to flip the script and show the rest of the city how it’s done.

This is the type of heart, leadership, and community that the Northeast has always been! I’m looking forward to working alongside the Osterlands to move the Northeast forward and to bring new opportunities that our community hasn’t seen in decades.

Hey District 4!

Hopes got some cactus and ice plants she is giving away to help you beautify your yards or neighborhoods!

Did you know that planting more vegetation helps offset the effects of flooding by acting as a natural sponge, but it even helps cool down our city.

Hard to believe that just two years ago we were having our campaign Kick-Off at Casita Linda on Hondo Pass.

Our campaign has always been about uplifting local businesses, protecting vulnerable communities, advocating for our seniors, and coming up with real solutions at city hall!

See you in 2028!

The announcement so many of you have been waiting for is finally here.

We are officially launching the Northeast HOPE (Hearts Organized for Power and Empowerment) Coalition a non-partisan movement built to show up, speak out, and fight for the people of Northeast El Paso.

This isn’t just another organization. This is about action.

Within the next week, we’ll be fully up and running and ready to get to work. Our monthly meetings will take place every third Tuesday at 6:00 PM, hosted at local businesses right here in our community, because investing in Northeast starts with showing up for Northeast.

Our mission is clear:
Holding elected officials accountable.
Fighting for a safer community, more equitable treatment, and long-overdue improvements.
Standing up for vulnerable neighbors+ their pets.
Building a stronger, more united Northeast El Paso.

We’re looking forward to the fight we are all going to build for community, if you are interested in joining please let me know!
