Thank you all for coming in for packet pickup, we are so excited for Sunday's event. Our final count is 450! Which is a huge success, as this is our first event.
Get ready for a Sunday full of fun with running, music, food trucks, activities, and drinks 😉
📍Sept 22nd. Ascarate Event Directions & Parking:
Enter through the main entrance and go around the roundabout.
Take a right onto Tom Lea Blvd.
Follow the street (it will curve left) to the Old Western Playland Parking Lot.
Look for signs guiding you to the event area.
The starting line will be directly to your left as you enter from the parking lot.
⏰ Arrival Time:
Please arrive by 7:30 AM for the race meeting and national anthem.
Race Start: 8 AM sharp.
🏃♂ Race Details:
5k Race: Two laps around the lake, finishing at the starting point.
8k Race: Three laps around the lake, finishing at the starting point.
1 Mile Walk: Follow the paved road alongside the lake (Joe Yarbrough to N R E Thomason Loop), make a U-turn, and return to the start.
