Today, we celebrated our amazing young athletes at the Dodgers Dreamteam closing celebration! ⚾️💙

Congratulations to every player for a wonderful season! A special thank you to the coaches, volunteers, parents, families, city staff, and everyone who continues to invest in our children and help them dream big.

Last Thursday, our community came together to honor and remember six El Monte Police Department heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our city. 💙🖤

The unveiling of the Memorial Wall is a deeply meaningful tribute to their lives and their unwavering commitment to protecting and serving the people of El Monte. Their names and their legacy will forever remain a part of our community.

May we always remember the sacrifice they made and keep their families, loved ones, and the men and women of the El Monte Police Department in our thoughts and prayers.

Last Saturday, after spending such a beautiful day with our community, surrounded by our children, families, and neighbors, I stopped at one of our local District 3 restaurants in El Monte to eat. Annia’s Kitchen ✈️

Little did I know that one of the most meaningful moments of my day was still waiting for me!

I was overjoyed to run into my 5th grade teacher from Shirpser School, Mrs. Arlene Ramirez. Seeing her instantly brought back many wonderful memories of my childhood and reminded me of the incredible teachers who believe in us, encourage us, and help shape who we become.

As I thanked her, I couldn’t help but reflect on how life comes full circle. Years ago, I was her student, and today I have the privilege of serving the same community that helped raise me.

Moments like this fill my heart with gratitude and remind me why I love El Monte very much.

Thank you, Mrs. Ramirez, for being part of my journey. It was truly a blessing to see you again. ❤️

It was a pleasure to join the owners, family, friends, and community members for the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of Upgrade Barbershop.
