✨ Public Works Employee Spotlight: Raymond Moreno ✨

Raymond joined the City team in January 2025 shortly after graduating from El Campo High School in 2024, making him the youngest member of the Public Works Team. Since coming on board, Raymond has shown an outstanding work ethic, eagerness to learn, and a positive attitude every day.

In his role, Raymond has learned to safely operate heavy equipment, assist with maintaining city parks and public spaces, and strengthen his communication and teamwork skills. His willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities has made him a valued part of the department.

Parks maintenance workers play an important role in keeping El Campo beautiful and welcoming for residents and visitors. Their work includes mowing and landscaping parks, maintaining playgrounds and ball fields, trimming trees, operating equipment, cleaning public spaces, and helping prepare facilities for community events and recreational activities.

Raymond is truly a pleasure to work with, and we look forward to watching him continue to grow — both as a City employee and as a young man. Thank you, Raymond, for your hard work and commitment to serving the City of El Campo! 👏🌳🚜
