Soil: Where It All Begins” was this year’s poster contest theme.

We were thrilled to receive over 225 entries across three age divisions:
• K–2
• 3–4
• 5–6

The creativity and effort from all participants truly showcased the importance of soil in our everyday lives.

While not everyone was able to attend our Annual Meeting to be recognized, we are proud to highlight and celebrate the students who were in attendance. Congratulations to each of you for your outstanding work!

Help us celebrate these incredible students in the comments and by sharing this post! 👏

HERE IS YOUR CHANCE to have YOUR voice heard~!!!

Calling All Kansas Landowners: Share Your Voice on Conservation Easements!
The Kansas Association of Conservation Districts (KACD) is inviting landowners across the state to provide valuable feedback on conservation easement programs in Kansas. These programs are designed to help protect, restore, and enhance our state's wetlands, grasslands, and farmlands—preserving them for future generations.
To strengthen outreach, boost participation, and improve implementation of these programs, KACD is conducting a brief survey to better understand the challenges and opportunities landowners perceive. Your input will help shape the future of conservation efforts in Kansas.
The short survey includes 15 questions, is completely anonymous, and can be accessed via the following link: Conservation Easement Survey, or by the QR code below.
Thank you for helping us protect Kansas’s natural heritage!
