Hello friends! Avonlea here!

We lost a great part of the community. ❤️‍🩹

Our family just recently lost my mother unexpectedly at the beginning of the year, and my dad's health just never got better after that.

I wanted to thank everyone for the many, many years of celebrating with my family over the holidays!✨
My dad absolutely adored creating, programming, and setting up millions of lights and displays over the past 20+ years for everyone and their friends and family to enjoy together at both of our homes in Sparta, IL, and when we moved to Edwardsville, IL, over the years.✨

We can't thank you all enough for being part of my dad's extreme love for lights for so many different occasions, and we are sad to bring such a wonderful chapter of light displays to a close, but happy we were able to share while we could.❤️‍🩹

Hi all!

Unfortunately, there will be no Schoeneberg Halloween or Christmas light shows for 2021.

With dad's health...it just wasn't an option for us this year. 😕

We are so saddened by this, and we will greatly miss all of the friends we have made over the last 15+ years of my dad building and programming our displays. The memories will last a lifetime with us, and we can't thank everyone enough for all of the love and support through the years from the Sparta and Edwardsville, IL locations we have lived at. 😌

Unfortunately, there will also be no light show display at the Holbrook, MA location either this year. The circumstances out of everyone's control are putting the fun on hold here too. Just keep the family in your thoughts.♥️

Hello all! We hope everyone has had a fantastic holiday season so far! ✨

We gave it our absolute all and appreciate everyone who tried to help us get things up and running, but due to too many technical difficulties, Dad ending up being admitted back to the hospital again with breathing issues, and just not enough time to fix everything...we just were not able to get our holiday light show up and running this year. 💔

We appreciate everyone’s love and support so very much over these past 15+ years, and we can only hope to see everyone again in 2021!🥰

We hope everyone has the most fantastic New Year that you possibly can in these strange times! 🙌✨

Hi all! We are so sorry for the lack of communication about the show...but we just weren’t sure if we were going to make it happen.
Unfortunately, dad is back in the hospital dealing with a blood clot in his lung.
We are hoping to try for Christmas, but no promises again with his health.

I will try and keep the page updated when I can.
Thank you all so much for so many years of love are care! We hope so so much to see you all at Christmas times! 💚

Hi all!
Avonlea here!

I know so many of you have been wondering if we are having the show after last years Christmas with dad.

WE ARE! (At least we have been trying so hard to get something to everyone by Christmas)

Dad and some of our best friends and family have been volunteering their time and everything is slowly, but surly going up!

We thank you for your patience and understanding! We do hope to see you all soon!
